About Fleet Planner
Fleet Planner is a cloud-based service that allows you to schedule fleet base maintenance from multiple fleets to individual aircraft. Since Fleet Planner is a cloud-based service, a distributed workforce can collaborate on plans and see changes in real time.

The scheduling engine is the logic tool that creates plans based on your operational data.
Reforecasting a saved plan
Reforecasting allows users to update task information in a saved plan based on new operational data. A reforecasted task may become overdue based on the new information, but the visit the task is assigned to will not move, nor will the task be reassigned.

- About Fleet Planner
  Fleet Planner is a cloud-based service that allows you to schedule fleet base maintenance from multiple fleets to individual aircraft. Since Fleet Planner is a cloud-based service, a distributed workforce can collaborate on plans and see changes in real time.
  - Multi-Factor Authentication
    As the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is the new security standard of the industry, Fleet Planner is equipped with a TOTP (time-based one-time password) two factor authentication system. Previously users logged in to the Fleet Planner application using the email and password combination.
  - The Dashboard
    The Fleet Planner Dashboard displays a read-only view of the current published plan. There can only be one published plan at a time.
  - The Scheduling Engine
    The scheduling engine is the logic tool that creates plans based on your operational data.
    - Scheduling a saved plan
      Scheduling allows users to re-run the scheduling engine for visits and tasks that start after the specified scheduling start date (SSD.) It can be run for all aircraft, a single fleet, a single subfleet, or a single aircraft.
    - Reforecasting a saved plan
      Reforecasting allows users to update task information in a saved plan based on new operational data. A reforecasted task may become overdue based on the new information, but the visit the task is assigned to will not move, nor will the task be reassigned.

        Fleet Planner calculates usage based on the airframe; it does not calculate component usage.

    - Automerge
      Automerge rules allow the scheduling engine to combine specific source checks into a prioritized list of destination checks.
    - Ground time
      Accounting for planned ground time when forecasting due dates allows Fleet Planner to calculate optimal schedule dates for all maintenance tasks, minimizing ground time for each aircraft.
    - Track Proficiency
      Tracks can have a different turnaround time (TAT) to complete work. Assigning a proficiency factor to each track allows Fleet Planner to factor in the impact of scheduling or assigning work to the track.
  - Visits
    A visit is continuous interval when an aircraft is at a specific track and is available for maintenance. A visit is populated with tasks which define the work that will be done.
  - Tasks
    A task is a specific maintenance activity that must be performed on an industry-defined schedule or as a result of an aircraft fault.
