Working with Fleet Planner

At a high level, you'll need to perform the following steps to use Fleet Planner.

Step 1: Input your data

Gather your operational data, regardless of whether it currently resides in spreadsheets or any Maintenance and Engineering system, and incorporate it into Fleet Planner's required spreadsheet templates. See Data templates.

Step 2: Upload your data

Upload the spreadsheets to Fleet Planner using a simple drag and drop process. See About data uploading.

Step 3: Create, edit, and publish plans

Once you've uploaded your data, you can start to work with it. You can create plans, edit them, and publish them. See Plans.

Step 4: Manage your data in Fleet Planner

You can also make incremental changes to your data using Fleet Planner, such as adding new aircraft, tasks, and locations, instead of uploading new template data. See Add a new aircraft, Create a new task definition, and Create a new location.

Step 5: Create business rules

You can also create business rules unique to your organization, such as track applicability exceptions, change fleet colors, and so forth.
