Reforecasting a saved plan
Reforecasting allows users to update task information in a saved plan based on new operational data. A reforecasted task may become overdue based on the new information, but the visit the task is assigned to will not move, nor will the task be reassigned.
-
Reforecasting may cause a task to become overdue, but it does not move tasks or visits. Tasks that become overdue must be scheduled manually or by running the scheduling tool. In addition, Fleet Planner will not create new visits when reforecasting.
-
If run, reforecasting and scheduling will apply to all fleets, subfleets and tracks, regardless of the filters or search terms set.
-
If you schedule a visit prior to the initial Calculation From date, Fleet Planner will not reforecast the plan.
-
If you run a full reforecast, you will receive a warning for each task in a visit occurring in the past that is missing a last done record. Retirement visits occurring in the past will not receive this warning.

If there is no latest usage, last done, or previous visit, Fleet Planner uses the aircraft in service date and 0 cycles and 0 hours.
Tasks will only be reforecasted to the end of the plan's forecasted date range.
