Multi-Factor Authentication
As the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is the new security standard of the industry, Fleet Planner is equipped with a TOTP (time-based one-time password) two factor authentication system. Previously users logged in to the Fleet Planner application using the email and password combination.
The TOTP two factor authentication is based on mobile apps such as:

Google Authenticator

MFA is activated on a customer-by-customer basis

When MFA is active, users cannot login without the authentication app
First Login

Upon first login with MFA enabled, Fleet Planner displays a unique QR code

You can use your own TOTP authentication app to capture the QR code and associate the account

When the code is verified, you can continue to login with the new password

If the authentication app (the device) is reset, lost, or unavailable.

If you're unable to log in.
