View a saved plan

See the current state of a plan without editing it.

Click Menu , and then click Plan management.
Click the plan you want to view.

The plan opens in read-only view.

Plan management
- Create the first plan
  When you log in for the first time, upload operational data and create your first plan.
- Create a new plan
  Generate a new plan from the current operational data.
- Change active plan
  To view or modify operational data and business rules you must change the active plan from the plan management page.
- Plans
  A plan is a collection of all maintenance tasks required for your aircraft during a specific period, which are assembled into visits, which are then scheduled on defined locations at specific times.
- View a saved plan
  See the current state of a plan without editing it.
  - Zoom into and out of the plan
    Change the scale of your plan view by zooming in and out of the Gantt chart.
  - Filter a plan
    Customize your Gantt view by using the Track and Visit filter sets.
  - Search a plan
    Find specific tasks or aircraft in your plan.
  - Jump to a specific date
    You can quickly jump to a specific date on a plan instead of using the scroll bars.
  - Show out of service aircraft count
    The out of service aircraft count represents the total number of visits on all displayed tracks including overlaps. Fleet Planner hides this information by default, but you can show it on the Gantt if required.
- Edit plan details
  Change the name of your plan, add, or remove comments, and change active plan.
- Edit plan details from the read only view
  Edit the plan, and change the active plan from the read only view.
- Reforecast a plan
  Forecast task due dates based on operational data changes since the plan was originally created.
- Partial reforecasting
  Unlike reforecasting, where you recalculate the due dates and forecasted usages of all the tasks, in all the visits, for all the aircrafts in a plan, a partial reforecast involves recalculating the aforementioned dates and usages for a much smaller data set.
- Copy plan
  Create a new copy of a plan.
- Copy plan from the active plan page
- Run schedule logic
  You can run schedule logic after you've uploaded new operational data or added new tasks or aircraft. You can also do this if you've recently rearranged tasks, visits, and so forth.
- Add to plan
  When you add all changes to a plan, the forecast engine retrieves all existing visits, and then finds new task definitions and aircraft that do not belong to existing visits. The forecast engine then creates new tasks and visits in overflow.
- Publish a plan
  Publish a plan so that it appears on the Dashboard.
- Export a plan to PDF
  Export your plan in PDF to share with others.
- Export a plan to .csv
  Export your plan to .csv format for editing.
- Delete a plan
  You can delete any plan except the published plan or a parent plan that has child plans.
- Compare plan Gantt charts
  View more than one Gantt chart at a time to see how they compare.

- Working with master plans
  When you reserve subfleets, Fleet Planner creates a master plan along with a child plan. Typically, you, or another planner working with their own subfleets, will make changes to the subfleets and then return those changes back to the master plan.
- Compare plan KPIs
  Calculate and view the KPIs of two or more plans.
