Data templates

To upload your data to Fleet Planner, it must be formatted using predefined data templates.

Fleet Planner accepts the following templates:

  • task_applicablility.csv

  • task_definition.csv

  • last_maintenance_done.csv

  • aircraft_usage.csv

  • fleet_details.csv

  • forecast_model.csv

  • location_capability.csv

  • automerge_rules.csv

  • check_hierarchy_rules.csv

  • extraction_rules.csv

  • extraction_rule_allocation.csv

  • track_proficiency_exceptions.csv

Important:
  • When you upload new operational data, the published plan will automatically update its Last Done dates, and aircraft usage (hours, usage).

  • Uploading data overwrites existing all operational data to match all columns included in the uploaded templates, including blank fields. i.e. You must include complete data for all rows in a column if you want to update that field in any row.

Template Formatting Rules

The following rules apply to all templates:
  • Files must be in Comma Separated Value (.csv) format.
  • The column headers must remain the same, but columns can be removed and their order can be changed.
  • Dates must be in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD or MM-DD.
    Note:

This date format may not be the default format used by your spreadsheet editing application. Windows programs, such as MS Excel, use the computer's default date format, which can cause issues with Fleet Planner. You may choose to manually override the date formatting, or change the default date formatting of your computer.

Alternately, you may set the date format each time your open the template. Note that .csv formatted spreadsheets do not persist formatting settings once they have been closed.
