Change the Windows date format
Change the default date format on your Windows computer to match the date format required in your operational data.
- Do one of the following:
- For Windows 7, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
- For Windows 10, click the Start button, then type Control Panel, and then press Enter.
- Do one of the following:
- For Windows 7, click Date and Time.
- For Windows 10, click Change date, time, or number formats.
- Do one of the following:
- For Windows 7, click Change date and time, then click Yes in the User Account Control window, and then click Change calendar settings.
- For Windows 10, go to the next step.
- In the Short date list, click yyyy-MM-dd, and then click OK.
